Computer Technology

Computer skills are no longer optional, but absolutely essential for children growing up in the high tech age.  As part of the Whole Child Academy program, children will be encouraged to learn basic computer skills and will be informed of the ever lurking dangers of predators on the net.

Children will start at 4-5 years with activities such as story development and art programs, moving on to software that develops both word and numeric competency. Basic software skills  will be part of the overall course of study.  As they mature, children will continue to learn about more complex systems, such as spreadsheets, databases, word processing and desktop publishing. They will also learn about input devices such as scanners and digital cameras.
